Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated salesperson with Telecoms experience to help grow and develop this part of TwistedPair’s business. A successful candidate will have experience in the industry, knowledge of products in this arena and have confidence pitching the solution to customers from operations through to C-level.

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director

Key Duties

  • Identifying Opportunities

Confident identifying opportunities with net new clients, attacking a database of existing clients and cross selling or researching businesses to identify there is no requirement for this type of solution

  • Building Relationships & Professional Approach

Having an understanding of how to build relationships with senior professionals and structure an approach with professionalism (securing meetings, identifying a need, following up with actions, etc.) Develop, maintain and enhance relationships across all levels of the customers business, to include formal and informal meetings, HQ Visits, Trade exhibitions, business dinners and hospitality

  • Product Knowledge

Keeping up to speed with industry changes and updates to ensure that Twistedpair’s offering is competitive and provides a rounded offering for our customers

  • Account Mapping & Strategic planning

Create Sales account plans for the customer accounts which will identify, quantify, and recommend Sales action plans to address new business opportunities consistent with overall company strategy

  • Customer Proposals

Create, plan and present customer proposals and quotations having taken a brief from the customer on their requirements. 

  • Qualifying projects and defining a scope of works

Applying methodical thinking to qualifying projects to understand if enough information is available and sufficient budget to push it to the pre sales team for quotation. This includes utilising product and service knowledge to outline a scope of works which can be shared with the customer outlining our understanding of their expectations from the solution. 

  • Brand Ambassador

Able to represent the brand of TwistedPair in a positive light, and by doing so you help raise brand awareness and provide consumers with a memorable face-to-face experience.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years account management experience

Demonstrable background in Telecoms

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual/LV Project Manager to deliver a client focused successful delivery of audio visual and Data projects.

The role provides accountability for end-to-end project delivery, from technical pre-sales engagement, needs analysis, through to solution design, implementation, commissioning and follow-on support services.  A good technical understanding of AV solutions to assume overall control of the direction and success of projects is needed, working in a consultative way to achieve the client objectives within budget and on time.  Building the client relationship, demonstrating the TwistedPair difference and delivering a personal, attentive service. 

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Production of project documentation including risk and method statements and project delivery plans
  • Supervise installation and maintenance work completed by the engineering teams together with scheduling installation work and overseeing the procurement of required equipment and materials .
  •  Preparation and monitoring of project budgets .
  • Ensuring quality assurance and compliance with main contract conditions.
  • Project management and on-site supervision of engineering, programming and any 3rd party contractors .
  • Project reporting – highlighting and managing any risks or issues before escalation.
  • Manage the collection of project handover details and ensuring a smooth delivery into ongoing support services.

Key Skills:

  • A proven track record in Audio Visual (AV) Project Management
  • Able to produce project documentation to a high standard
  • Able to work with Microsoft Project , Visio , CAD software etc
  • The ability and presence to liaise with clients , external consultants and project consultants at senior level .
  • Able to motivate and manage project implementation teams .
  • An understanding of AV systems integration with IP networks and existing IT systems is essential
  •  Acquired industry accreditation is preferred (Infocomm, Cedia etc)
  • Conversant with Project Management best-practice and methodologies is preferred e.g. PRINCE2

Field Service Engineer

Job Description

This role is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service. This position will see you becoming an integral part of the support desk team where you will be mainly tasked with travelling to our customer sites to resolve and fix technical issues. The ability to work flexible hours, under pressure, be proactive and to think outside the box whilst staying calm is a must. You’ll be able troubleshoot, triage, identify, and fix issues, whilst keeping the end user and our internal helpdesk informed of the progress.

Reports to: Service Manager

Remuneration: TBC

Hours: 40 per week

Key Duties:

  • Preventative maintenance on AV equipment at customers sites
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on AV Systems at customers sites and repairing AV systems
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure Service Contracts are renewed.
  • Bench repairs to equipment if possible or organisation for collection and delivery to manufacturers.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment serviced is safe for use and that the quality of work carried out is of the highest quality
  • Assist with Installation projects when not on service calls.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organised nature
  • Demonstrable experience within a customer facing service role
  • Experience working within a timeframe, against standard SLA and adhering to SLAs and legal terminology.
  • Must have strong AV Technical experience, with extensive experience of troubleshooting, workarounds and fixing AV faults
  • BAU Support experience
  • Customer service focused
  • High levels of AV equipment knowledge
  • Systems experience (Crestron/AMX/Extron/QSC/Logitech/Poly)
  • Remote Management tools experience (Utelogy/Barco CMGSFusion/RMS/Solarwinds/Avedia Server/TMS/Resource manager)

Qualifications:

Essential: Customer Service & a Technical Audio Visual background 

Desired: Varied technology background, Avixa CTS/ CTS-i/ CTS-d
