What are Softphones?

Soft Phones allow users to free themselves from the traditional constraints of having a phone terminal at their workstation. It allows them to access all of the features of a traditional phone terminal through their computer. With the use of a headset connected to the computer and the soft phone software, the users can access all of the soft phone features while keeping the traditional applications of a phone terminal.
